The best kettle and toaster sets to buy in 2022 fully reviewed

Hi everyone and welcome to our guide of the best kettle and toaster sets to buy in 2022. There’s nothing quite like a good cuppa and a good bit of toast to go with it.

They are arguably two of the most important and used small appliances in the kitchen and although it’s important they work to the required standard and get your tea and crumpets ready as quickly as possible it’s also about their design too which is why we’ve saved you a job and put this guide together.

Purchasing a toaster and kettle together makes a tonne of sense as it not only usually saves you a bit of money but also ensure your appliances are matching which gives you a nester looking kitchen but also saves you the hassle of shopping around.

We’ve covered everything from the best cheap kettles and toaster sets to mid range and the high end premium brands that will cost an arm and a leg and only left in our guide what we believe are the best kettle and toaster sets to buy and what represents value for money for you.

A few things to consider before we begin.

Design

In the modern kitchen it’s often about design and if all of your appliances fit in well with one another regardless of how big or small they are, a kettle and toaster set is no different and the design is often as important as functionality. Think about what sort of design you want your kitchen to have and if you’re going for a clean modern look or the old school retro design as you’ll easily find small appliances to suit both.

A popular choice at the moment is to go for something simple but classy such as a stainless steel toaster and kettle set, often you can easily find a microwave to throw in there too that gives your kitchen the whole shebang.

Price

They can range from a few pounds to into the hundreds and depends largely on brand as when it comes down to what they do they all do the same – they either boil water or make toast.

Budget sets may only cost you around £30 and are absolutely fine for the short term but we’ve found they don’t tend to have a very long life and can often look old and done after just a few months, it’s certainly worth paying a bit more to ensure you’re appliances last a bit longer and look newer for longer too.

Colour

Small appliances now come in a range of different colours and even rainbow if that’s what you’re looking for, depending on the style of your kitchen and the paint on the walls it’s hard to recommend a specific one for you but be assured we do have them available in every colour

White Kettle and Toaster set

White sets are the most common and for obvious reasons, not only does it give you the expected appliance look but also a nice clean design which will often compliment the other appliances within your kitchen

So let’s dive in

We’ve tried them, we’ve tested them and now we’re reviewing them.

The button on the kettle that opens the lid is a lot easier than some older models of kettles too. This all being priced as a set is great value for money too.

There weren’t too many cons to this kitchen bundle, although we did feel the toaster took a bit too long and sometimes needed to go back in for a bit longer to be properly done.

    Pros
We love the design and the slick black finish which fits in well to any kitchen. The kettle boiled very quickly and was quite quiet compared to other models. The toast was ready in minutes which we were very pleased with.

    Cons
The toaster was a bit too small for most bread which seems to be a common theme nowadays, although the kettle and toaster mostly worked well the RRP of £169 puts this at least £80 above other models available that are of a similar standard, we feel this is a negative as its not value for money.
